God be in my head, and in my understanding;
God be in my eyes, and in my looking;
God be in my mouth, and in my speaking;
God be in my heart, and in my thinking.

God be in my eyes, and in my looking;
God be in my mouth, and in my speaking;
God be in my heart, and in my thinking.
- Sarum Primer -
There has never been a time when I did not have the need for God. There has never been a time when He has failed me though in my childish immature mind, I feel like He has when I don't receive the billionth request that I have made or have had to go through an unpleasant or sad experience.
God has always been very important in my life and I am hoping that I will be a better Catholic Christian this year so that I learn to listen to His promptings and His ways instead of my own. I hope that I will lead others to Him rather than away from Him. I want to feel closer to Him and to feel His presence each and every day. I will strive to be worthy to sit in front of the cross, and stare into his downcast eyes and not feel ashamed.
And though I shall stumbled and fall, I know that He will lift me up and carry me - So great is our God! Thank you dear God for your infinite goodness towards me and those whom I love. Thank you for every little thing both great and small. Thank you for protection, for our daily bread, for love, for family, for love, for everything. I pray that you today you may open up your heart and feel God's gentle touch.
"My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever."
Psalm 73:26
