You left us so unexpectedly.
Just a moment and you were gone…
And though for a time our hears will ache
And the tears will freely flow,
What comforts us is the knowledge that you are at peace…
At peace with the Angels above.

You are our mother, our granny,
Our sister, our friend, our aunty.
And whenever we miss you
Or thoughts of you flit through our mind,
We shall always remember fondly
All your wonderful caring ways...

The calls in the middle of the day
Asking us if we were okay
Your shoulders that bore the weight of our worries
Your ears that listened to all our stories
Your arms that openly embraced
Your heart that brimmed with loving-kindness.

And though for a time our hears will ache
And the tears will freely flow
What comforts us is the knowledge that you are at peace…
At peace with the Angels above.

We are certain that you are happier there
There in that special place above…
A place where Angels sing and there are pastures green
A place where Our Heavenly Father resides,
A place where all is serene.

Then one sweet day
We will all be together again…
But until that day comes
You will forever be in our hearts and minds
And we will be comforted with the knowledge that you are at peace…
