The Princess Project

As ‘Project Happily Ever After’ is up and coming and because I think I need to pay more attention to my exterior, I decided to start ‘The Princess Project’. This Project  is essentially a new daily beauty regime which consists of the standard cleanse, tone and moisturise coupled with some ways to lose weight {dieting & exercise}. I am starting this Project at a snail’s pace simply because it is hard for me to lose weight even if I don’t eat much {if people were what they eat, I would not look like the way I did}. I guess the problem lies with my metabolic rate and the fact that I don’t exercise.

Now, for those of you who read my blog and are wondering if I look like a hippo or a whale, I am neither but I sure feel that way when the supposedly “free size” clothes don’t fit and when the salespeople who are usually stick thin tell me they don’t have the said article of clothing it in my size *grumbles sigh mumblesIt’s not impossible to lose weight I reckon, just super duper difficult but I will try so much harder this year because as a well meaning friend told me, I don’t want my wedding photos to look bad right?

So, I you have any tips that work and that don’t require me to kill myself trying, do let me know. Any tips or advice is appreciated. I found this online article about ‘7 Habits That Make You Fat’. I thought the article was informative and will try to chew more times, do more multi tasking and drink less soda *smiles* So here’s to trying to make ‘The Princess Project’ a great success!

Besides that, I also need to cut down Zuma Blitz and Bejeweled severely since these two games {especially Zuma} have kept me up till the wee hours of the morning. For Zuma, I have been kicked to position number 6 in this week’s tournament and it seems like a steady deterioration for a former number 1 *sobs* I think taking this game playing time to start on my numerous Projects seem like a better more worthwhile idea. At least I will have something to show at the end of the day and it would be good to allow my creative side to roam free instead of being repressed. I just need to stay away from Facebook for awhile *snickers*

Today at the office I decided to kick start my work exercise programme which involves me taking the stairs instead of the lifts. So after delivering some documents to be signed and saying a hasty hello and thanks to the Group Managing Director {she gave me a pretty necklace for Chrismtas – photos soon}, I decided, “Yes. I will walk up the stairs to my office”. Now my office is on Level 8 and I was at Level 3 and at that time, I thought it would be a cinch to walk up all those flights of stairs – I was so wrong!

My out of exercise body wanted to die and admit defeat at Level 5 {yes, what a wimp}! My legs were aching as if I had run a 1,000 miles and my breathing was out of whack. When I finally reached Level 8 and burst out of the stair well, there was a group of colleagues there who happened to be chit-chatting. I think they were surprised to see a panting slightly dead looking me. They asked me what I was doing and I think that I sorta mumbled in between heavy raspy can die panting “ I am exercising. Losing weight.”

My colleagues then proceeded to lecture me on exerting myself and how I should not push myself too much. True true… perhaps I should have taken it slow. Oh well. I am okay now. The raspy breathing as stopped *phew* So yea, here’s to stair climbing, not being a whale and the success of the ‘The Princess Project’ as it is by far the hardest project to kicks tart and maintain.
