An impulse to Soar

There have been many times when I have felt this way... 

this exhilaration of wanting to soar instead of creep 

but I never raise up to the challenge...

I have had enough though,

the next time this feeling comes along, 

I reckon I am going to grab it and soar on wings of eagles

for He gives me strength and He is the wind beneath my wings.

I absolutely love everything about this photo including of course the lounge which looks uber comfy. The styling is just awesome really and it would be just so great if I could have everything just like this picture. The cushions are so adorable, the white carpet with the blue circles, the white trunk type thingy, the frames on the wall and the Japanese lanterns are all things I heart!!! I just feel like slouching down onto this lounge to read while sipping on something hot and yummy. Simply awesome. *grin grin grin*

This will probably be the next book that I purchse {yes yes... I know I have heaps of unread delights waiting in boxes and big big black bags... but you know me, the book collector and lover}! The synopsis of ths story sounds really good and look at the price!!! RM19.90! You know what that is right? A steal! 

For the benefit of my readers who are not familliar, books in Malaysia are not cheap. They go from RM32.90 upwards depending on who the publisher is, whether it is a paperback or a hardcover and if they are new books or older ones. Most savvy Malaysians and of course book lovers will know to shop during sales. 

The best book sale I have been to is the Big Bad Wolf book sale. I bought heaps and heaps of books for a fraction of the price {I paid maybe 10%-25% of the original price} and saved heaps as well. My parents kinda support my passion for books but hate the fact that I have so many boxes of them. I hate that too but really, with the job that I have and my passion for arts and crafts, interweb surfing, TV series watching and etc... books get sidelined at times.

BookXcess the company that also organises the Big Bad Wolf sale is also an awsome place to buy books as the prices are reduced quite considerably. I love the fact that more people have access to books now. I can't wait to dive into my new books and flip through the pages and touch their covers.......... {ok... I just sounded like a wierdo. forgive me! I just love books!!!}. So if you are a Malaysian who loves books and has never been to BookXcess, please please go {Btw, am not endorsed or paid to write this. I just heart books}. It's an awesome book haven! Spring is in the air

Designed by Jordi Vayreda this interior layout is a sight for sore eyes with soft pinks and dashes of green. When I see this photos, I feel spring in the air. I feel alive. I feel like I want to read a book in a park on a blanket . I want to curl up on the seemingly comfy sofa to read or to invite my girlfriends over for tea {I seem to want to read and curl up in bed alot, right}. I now am in love with grey sofas and pink, white and green themed pillows. I love the simple white kitchen, bathroom and bedroom as well! Simplicity works best at times.  

But really does this interior not beckon to you or speak to you?? Do you not suddenly want to go shopping for things which are green or pink? Ok. If you are a guy probably not and if you are not into interior design and don’t like pinks and greens, then maybe you would not get it too… but really… really… spring is in the air. I shall keep an eye out for pretty green fresh things *smiles smiles snickers snickers*

chasing dreams

I sometimes feel like this...

ok... ok... so I feel like this alot.

I day dream plenty {enough for the entire village I am sure}

but at the same time I worry, indulge and fear about the 

whats-ifs, the scaries and the doubts.

Perhaps now is the time to rise above it all,

to finally believe a 110% that all things are possible and to

finally chase those dreams and make them a reality.

I love the composition of Rachel's photographs. The interiors and exteriors and odds and ends that she photographs are already stunning but when Rachel takes her photos, it seems as if she knows just the right essence to capture. I also love that she captures all sorts of things and makes them so beautiful. I especially love the last photo which shows a beautiful wedding bouquet that is so inspiringly pretty.
