Pantone Edibles

When I saw these delightful cookies by Kim, I thought that they were an awesome idea! I also love the box that these adorable edible Pantone chip cookies come in. Plus the Pantone colour 186C is seriously a rad colour for heels {I have a pair which looks awesome}. Cheers to Kim for her creativy. It would be so awesome to try some of these cookies *grin grin*

Happy Valentines Day

Dear Readers,

Happy Valentine's Day. I wrote about Love Etc. last year and I would just like to share what I wrote again, this Valentine's Day {this edition has been slightly amended}. I hope that all of you will be blessed with love for it is sincerely the best gift to ever give or to receive.

"When I was younger, I thought I knew all about love. I talked about it, read about it and watched it... Or more like versions of it. Now older and slighty wiser, I know that love isn't all about good times, romance and happy endings.

Love is about acceptance of the other persons shortcomings and loving them despite of it.

Love is about trying when all else seems impossible.

Love is about trust and forgiveness and learning from past mistakes and moving along together instead of moving apart.

Love is about encouraging and building another's hopes and dreams even if their plans don't quite fit yours.

Love is about growing together emotional and spiritually.

Love is about putting the other persons needs before your needs and giving them the best you can possibly give.

Love is when you put aside your dreams to make way for theirs because what makes them happy, makes you happy.

Love is embracing and sharing each others differences instead of fighting over it.

Love is taking care of the other person and looking out for them.

Love is about walking together on the same journey eventhough you may take different paths to get to the destination.

Love is discovering the magic in the simple.

Love is giving up that last nugget, sip of Coke or bite of ice cream.

As each day passes, I am taught something new about love and I hope that I will continue to learn and to experience this wonderful, crazy, little, big thing called love."

The Pink Bug Returns

I have not gotten enough of the pink honeysuckle bug yet. I seem to see this awesome possum colour everywhere I go and it's just WOW! So, I have decided to have a couple more posts dedicated to the colour of the year Honeysuckle Pink! *woot woot*

Am loving the pink lantern, the macaron {confirms this is something I woudl like},
and the pink flowery shawl {though B doesn't think very much of it}.

I hear the dandelion wall stickers!!!

The honeysuckle pink and turquoise work brilliantly together!
Two awesome colours paired side by side and for some reason
this colour scheme makes me think of 'My Little Pony' and the original
'Littlest Pet Shop' and 'Polly Pocket'. What do you think?

V-Day Inspiration #2

The love bug has struck again!!!

More V'Day ideas for those crafty folks out there *grins grins*

Some ideas to give to a friend {friends are so very important in our lives}

or loved ones are personalized CDs, chocolates or handmade greetings.

The heart shaped chocolate biscuit with strawberry ice cream

is also another idea for an inexpensive yet utterly enjoyable

Valentine's gift. However, I am particularly taken by the colourful love bugs

which are sure to brighten up every nook and cranny!!!

{can someone make one for me? Pretty please???}

The idea for paper hearts to hang in front of windows is a lovely simple

idea {Note to self: Possible project for Project Love Nest!}

as is the idea of going green and loving the environment {as well as

the recipient of your gift} by making a bookmark out of cardboard.

I love Valentine's Day - just think of the

pretty pretty pink and red things, hearts, lace,

chocolates, creative ideas and the like {I am such a sap!}.

Super Stylin #7: Hello Naomi!

The title of Hello Naomi's post was 'fairy floss, butter popcorn and bubble gum'. How awesome fun is that? It conjures up images of fun fairs, family days, little girl's birthday parties, sunshine, rainbows and happy happy things. It is just so pastel and cheerful {My younger self would be hyperventiling with all this colour, but the 'me' now, hearts colours so much it's become quite a regular past time of mine to go web surfing for pretty, colourful photos}.

Do also find below some of the other pretty photos that Hello Naomi has on her blog. I have fallen in love with styling for parties I think. A pity that usually I am the one that gets to ogranise the parties and hire the vendors, not be a vendor... yet. Perhaps one day, right?
